Libra

Under the Whispering Door by T.J. Klune

The love interest in this book is a Libra and I will not be convinced otherwise. This book is full of heart, balancing Klune’s signature whimsy with a tremendous amount of weight and realism. Because of the subject matter, this book poses some great philosophical questions which I know my prudent Libras will love unpicking.

Scorpio

Stay Gold by Tobly McSmith

My darling Scorpios are so brave and passionate, just like the protagonist Pony in this poignant debut. While Pony is an extremely nuanced character, I think this book has an interesting take on the concept of Pony’s perceived bravery when it comes to his struggles throughout the book. I know my Scorpios will love Pony and appreciate the amount of compassion this book was written with.

Sagittarius

Not My Problem by Ciara Smyth

This book’s protagonist Aideen is one hundred percent a Sagittarius, she has such a quick wit and is so generous with her energy, giving everything to everyone and rarely keeping anything for herself. We’re pulled into her chaotic and hilarious world while she tries to fix everyone else’s problems while pointedly ignoring her own (same, girl). This is a quintessential queer coming-of-age story that pulls no punches while still leaving you feeling warm and fuzzy.

Capricorn

Girl Crush by Florence Given

I’m recommending my Capricorns this newer release because I think you’d love the protagonist Eartha’s tenacity, fierce independence and unwavering integrity. With its sharp and candid prose, Given’s intoxicating debut novel has truly permeated my brain in the best way. The audiobook is read by the radiant Tanya Reynolds so I highly recommend reading this title with your ears if you can!

Aquarius

Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender

My Aquarians are deep thinkers with unstoppable imaginations, just like the protagonist of this book, Felix. He’s an artist with a massive heart, but he’s also infuriatingly obstinate and seems to cause chaos wherever he goes. This remarkable book follows Felix as he breaks hearts, gets some serious revenge and makes some damn beautiful art.

Pisces

A Marvellous Light by Freya Marske

I think this sparkling fantasy debut would be perfect for my empathetic and inventive Pisces babes. Marske’s masterpiece contains the most original and visually appealing magic system I’ve ever read, and it’s filled to the brim with love and acceptance. I highly recommend reading this with your ears too as the audiobook is fabulously performed.
